This is who we are
As a regional purchaser, you are responsible for issuing purchase orders for our production in ROCKWOOL Nordics and UK, which consists of 5 factories (2 in Denmark, 2 in Norway and 1 in Wales). Our regional procurement takes place in close collaboration with the local organisations/factories and our category managers to ensure the best possible result. You will be a part of different projects across region OPCOs (operation companies).

You will refer to the Regional Purchasing Manager for ROCKWOOL Nordics & UK and be part of our team which consists of a total of 9 people based at our offices in Vamdrup by Kolding in Denmark and Bridgend in the UK.

This is the role
In short, you will:

• Be in charge of the ordering of raw materials and consumables for our Danish and Norwegian factories and ensure orders are delivered on time in full
• Be in daily contact with suppliers and partners
• Participate in performance review of suppliers
• Build strong relationships, both internally and externally
• Deliver on agreed targets and KPIs
• Participate in relevant both local and global projects

You will be part of a team of committed colleagues with an informal tone and where we work together purposefully to ensure that we have the right inventories of both machine parts and raw materials at our factories. You will have a large interface and take an active part in ensuring close collaboration with your colleagues as well as with our international partners and suppliers.

This is what you offer
To succeed, you are not afraid to challenge the status quo.

• You have a solid purchasing background and experience with operational purchasing, preferably from an international company
• You can have different educational backgrounds – either a medium or long administrative education with several years of experience or a master’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain or similar
• You speak and write English and have an understanding of the Scandinavian languages
• You are Microsoft Office superuser, including Excel, Power Point and other tools to support your analytical work and present your findings
• You preferably have SAP experience
• You are able to travel to visit factories and suppliers when needed

As a person you have a sharp analytical sense, are organised and good at planning. Furthermore, you are able to make fact-based decisions, and you are adaptable and careful with your work.
