We distribute tech and IT components – and a lot of it, with 1,000,000 deliveries a year. For this, it is important that our supply and demand runs smoothly, especially as the pace is high. And this is where you and your 20 colleagues within the S&OP department come in.

Take the lead on our demand planning processes and systems

Leading through others, you will develop our processes and set the direction for demand planning. You will be a member of our management group, and a huge support for our 15 supply planners, but will not manage anyone directly – unless we hire new people for demand planning in the future.

An important part of your role is to own our system for demand planning. The system is fairly new to our organisation, and we need you to ensure that all of our supply planners use it the same way and to optimise the system together with our IT department.

Some of your tasks will be to:

• Facilitate the monthly demand planning process, present KPIs and perform root cause analysis of relevant gaps together with commercial colleagues
• Develop effective forecast models and maintain our forecast tool by reviewing alerts and performing regular updates and cleaning
• Become a super user of our demand planning system SO99 – we do not expect you to know the system beforehand
• Serve as a first point of contact for our other offices in Europe regarding demand

You are a real demand planning trooper, who we also imagine:

• Could have a bachelor or master’s degree in business, engineering or supply chain and a few years of experience
• Could be a more experienced profile who enjoys being a system specialist – in this case, seniority makes up for formal education
• Feels at home in Excel, have strong statistical knowledge and are curious to know how algorithms work
• Enjoys being the one others rely on when issues arise and diving into the technical intricacies of our system – we will teach you everything you need
• Speaks and writes English fluently – Danish is not a prerequisite, even though you will meet up physically in Ballerup
