DILF competence profiles 2007 is an updated and extended version of DILF’s competence profiles for procurement and logistics. The profiles have been restructured, and a category 5 has been added – functional director level. This time the profiles have been arranged so that the distinction between tasks and different types of competences has been made clear. Last but not least, the system has been extended with personality factors based on the Discover tool DiSC®. We haven’t decided which personalities should be in the various categories – we believe that the companies are better off determining this themselves. But now, however, there is a structure for this part of the competence profiles and, not to forget, a whole range of profile tools that can be used in determining and developing this side of the competence concept.
