DILF's Planning conference is an annual event. This year we are happy to present speakers from companies to share experiences and engaging in dialogue about how they have taken their organization to the next level of S&OP - addressing both global S&OP, reinforcement of S&OP and S&OP in low scale. With the right process you can take your S&OP through a transparent view of cause and effect and through scenario planning contribute to decisions about new opportunities, growth and gap closure..
Practitioners and leaders within the SCM/planning and forecasting field such as planners (demand, supply, S&OP), supply chain specialists/project managers, logistics managers/directors/VP, supply chain managers/ directors/VP.
Senior Manager Demand & Supply Planning, Gitte Skindhøj Vindum, will tell about Bang & Olufsen's journey through the past four years, where she has established new S&OP processes globally in Bang & Olufsen. In her presentation she will share experiences and advice on how to run global S&OP with a small team. There will be emphasis on the importance of ensuring that stakeholders understand each other's challenges in an environment where the conditions are constantly changing. We will also get an insight into Bang & Olufsen's S&OP Engine Room and understanding of how strategic plans are implemented in daily work.

Over the last three years Arla has successfully developed and implemented a global monthly S&OP decision making process, that by Arla’s CEO Peder Tuborgh is referred to as “the pulse of Arla”. There has been a massive change process in both business processes but also in building new global IT supportive SAP APO tools.

Debate regarding challenges, opportunities and actions to be taken for each different maturity level in S&OP. The participants will be divided into the five stages related to maturity levels in S&OP.
Sales is leading. The focus is on developing a feasible operational plan to meet sales orders.
Focus on matching demand and supply volumes by optimum forecasting and supply response to demand.
While Stages 1 and 2 have an internal focus on balancing volumes, this stage focuses on enabling the shift to an external focus by integrating information flows.
Focus is on profitability. More business functions are involved, looking at both the logistical and financial impact of decisions.
Demand-sensing and even demand-shaping to get optimum alignment of supply chain decision-making with business strategy.
